What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — What It Is

Tab Trade went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.

His background is relevant. It means the founder is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still better than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, the breadth is solid.

Platforms

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Getting both makes a difference. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is what most people know. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have used MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader by Spotware is the alternative. Cleaner order book. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.

FIX API is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP account ($25,000 to open). TradingView is reportedly in the works. That will be a good addition once it is live.

What You Pay

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Easy to track. $0 to start. Good for beginners.

Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 minimum. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers run a much wider range.

Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you will not notice. But the fact that the setup is serious. That says something about priorities.

Pair that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package is strong. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.

Regulation

This is the part you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, look elsewhere. There are FCA-regulated options out there.

That said. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is not cheap. Dodgy operations do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. This does not guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

TabTrade offers a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual welcome offer. You put money in, TabTrade add bonus funds. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before you commit.
